Mark Tedford
Tedford Insurance was founded in 1978 by George and Kay Tedford. Today, Mark Tedford, owner and CEO, lead a team of over 60 employees. Mark received his bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern University and worked part-time at the agency as he earned his MBA from the University of Tulsa. Tedford Insurance is an all-lines independent agency focusing on business insurance and employee benefits. Mark is passionate about protecting the dreams of his clients and understands what is at stake for a business owner.
Tedford Insurance was the recipient of the 2016 DREAM BIG Blue Ribbon Small Business Award and Mark personally was awarded the Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma “2018 Agent of the Year”. He was selected for this prestigious award by his peers in the industry. Mark serves on the boards of the Economic Development Committee, Jenks Chamber of Commerce, Soldiers Wish, Tulsa Christmas Parade, Advisory Board of the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s Small Business Connection, and the CompSource Advisory Council.
Mark is married to Kristin Tedford and they have four children- Lauren, Landon, Lathan, and Lanning.
Kholter Hunt
Kholter Hunt has a degree in Religious Studies with a minor in Accounting. He began his career in the non-profit world helping to raise money for mission work, local churches and charities. For over ten years Kholter was able to achieve great success as a fundraiser and Pastor to Students and Families. After taking time off from his non-profit work Kholter was lead to go in a different direction and started a graphic design company called SeSo Creative working with clients from all over the United States and Canada. In 2013, SeSo Creative combined with another local agency and became Prolific Agency. Kholter left Prolific Agency in 2016 to pursue business consulting with his partner Martin Piplits, heading the Tulsa branch of Amark Consulting. During this time Kholter had several tax and bookkeeping clients whom he offered his services to. In early 2019, Kholter partnered with Mark Tedford to take over operations of 918 Shuttle which offers transportation and logistics services to the Tulsa market.
Kholter and his wife Tina founded a branding and design company called Talisman Agency in late 2019. Talisman Agency offers branding, website design and printing services, leaning heavily on their collective experiences. In August of 2020, Kholter, along with his partner Mark Tedford, formed American Birch Capital Investments in order to offer local investors opportunities to pool their resources to achieve a greater return on their investments.
